Perform/assist in Resistance Monitoring activities (IRM & WRM) including but not limited to following tasks:
1. Activities related to IRM
o Insect collections from required locations
o Insect rearing
(Ensure continuous rearing and timely ensuring population for bioassays:
Temperature and Humidity record, cleaning and disinfecting of working table and rearing racks , observation of jars for mold or any issues, Diet preparation, changing diet and transferring larvae, collection of adults from diet jars, Preparation of oviposition boxes, collection of eggs from oviposition boxes, labelling eggs in hatching box, collection and transfer of neonates to diet, Housekeeping of all lab components, Autoclave/disinfect the equipment, Support in isolating larvae/neonates for artificial infestation
o IRM Bioassays
Preparation of test material, preparation of serial dilutions, artificial infestations of field/Lab bioassays, Data collection from field/lab bioassays, Data analysis, report writing etc.
2. Activities related to WRM
o Weed bank maintenance
o Collection of weed seeds/ rhizomes from assigned location
o Processing, labelling and storage of samples
o Preparing pot mix for pot studies, planting seeds, spraying treatments on trials
o Safe disposal of test material at termination of trials
3. Any other relevant task assigned as per business requirement

Salary: Rs70,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
