Sport club and hospitality
Job Responsibilities
General Management:
- Review and optimize work practices and processes.
- Assist the General Committee in formulating and implementing long-term development plans, offering strategic planning advice.
- Prepare and present management reports and proposals to the General Committee and its Sub-Committees professionally and clearly.
- Compile and review Agendas and related materials for General Committee and Sub-Committee meetings.
- Attend General Committee, Sub-Committees, and other Club meetings as required.
- Undertake additional duties and tasks assigned by the General Committee from time to time.
Finance & IT Management:
- Oversee the preparation of the Club's financial plans and budgets, closely monitoring operational performance against the budget and addressing areas of concern with corrective measures.
- Supervise the implementation and progress of capital expenditure projects, identifying any delays or concerns.
- Ensure adherence to the Club's Finance & Accounting, Purchasing, IT, and internal control guidelines set by the General Committee and/or Sub-Committees.
- Establish procedures to control costs and continuously improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain proper usage, development, and maintenance of the Club's IT, including social media platforms.
- Ensure purchasing procedures deliver quality products and services according to terms.
Membership Management:
- Oversee the delivery of all services and facilities to members, adhering to the General Committee's prescribed standards and ensuring efficient delivery.
- Foster positive relationships and communication with all members, promptly addressing and considering members' suggestions.
- Report any pending issues or concerns that could affect members and the Club's performance to the General Committee.
- Ensure the Club's Bye-Laws and Articles of Association are upheld.
Administrative Management:
- Maintain relations with government authorities as necessary, renew permits and licenses as required.
- Ensure beneficial contracts with external parties and fulfill contractual obligations.
- Oversee the preparation of the Annual Report.
- Organize Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings, providing necessary information to the General Committee.
Sports and Racing Management:
- Collaborate with the Racing Section and all Sports Sections, supporting their activities and aligning with Club policies and guidelines.
- Ensure awareness of any changes to Sports Sections' Operating Manual, manage Sports Sections' funds, and maintain positive relations between management and Sports Sections.
Food & Beverage Management:
- Ensure quality and member satisfaction of F&B services at the RBSC and RBSC Polo Club.
- Manage cost-effective and efficient F&B operations at the RBSC.
- Monitor market trends to keep the Club updated with the latest F&B initiatives.
- Present F&B outlets in a manner suitable to the Club, maximizing benefits to members.
- Optimize the use of the Club's function facilities for maximum benefit.
Human Resources Management:
- Uphold the Club's Human Resources Policy to enhance staff performance and morale.
- Ensure timely annual staff assessments.
- Maintain positive human relations with staff.
- Regularly monitor Occupational Health and Safety performance.
- Provide advice on organizational structure and delegations to identify areas for improvement.
Facility Management:
- Manage Maintenance Department, House Department, and Grounds Department to maintain the Club's facilities in excellent condition and provide exemplary services to members.
- Oversee short, medium, and long-term plans related to the Club's facilities and equipment.
