Role – Linux System Administrator
Location – Germany (Frankfurt, Berlin, Cologne etc)
Mode – Hybrid – 12 Days complete Remote as standard which is negotiable and can be fully remote too.
Note – For team meetings, office location would be Bielefeld.
As a Linux administration expert, you will be involved in the installation and commissioning of Linux systems and take care of their maintenance and support, advise our customers on technical issues and accompany the implementation.
Roles and Responsibilities
5 years of relevant experience in Linux
Strong Knowledge about user administration and File system management activities
Experience in OS Hardening, performance, kernel tuning rise setting.
Sound Knowledge in RHEL Linux Operating system, OS Hardening and Performance Tuning.
Deep knowledge on volume managers (LVM) , Knowledge on Virtualization.
Good Working Experience Linux Service Guard, Kernel Configuration.
Deep Knowledge on NFS, NTP , NIS, DNS, OS Copy
Experience working with helpdesk ticketing applications like Remedy
Good process knowledge in call login, tracking, closure procedures.
Adhere to SLA response and resolution times and ensure cases are regularly updated.
Escalation of problems in a timely manner as per the escalation matrix
