Barracuda Networks is currently looking for a highly motivated and engaged Senior HR Generalist to support our Austria offices located in Innsbruck and Vienna. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all regional HR processes run smoothly. You will be joining a talented Global HR team with knowledgeable people to support and develop you. This position will be based in Innsbruck, and will report to the Director, HR Operations & Payroll EMEA.

What you’ll be working on

  • Onboard and support new employees from offer stage to the first day in their role.
  • Provide support to employees throughout their entire employee life cycle.
  • Create and process employment contracts and new hire documentation.
  • Define and maintain up-to-date HR and Payroll policies, procedures and records in compliance with local legal requirements.
  • Partner with Global HR Business partners to support local management on employee relations topics.
  • Collaborate with IT, Marketing and Finance to improve our internal HR processes.
  • Manage local Time and Attendance System.
  • Support Payroll with monthly input audits.
  • Provide regional support for Global HR Programs such as Leadership Development Programs and Volunteer Initiatives.
  • Organize local Employee Engagement Events.
  • Ensure a smooth off-boarding process.
  • Experience collaborating with works council.

What you bring to the role

  • 6+ years’ experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Degree in Human Resources or similar Business studies.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Understanding of international human resources policies and procedures, incl. applicable knowledge of Collective Bargaining Agreements.
  • Additional knowledge of employment regulations across EMEA countries preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Open to quarterly travel to offices in Vienna and the United Kingdom.
  • Desire to work in an international team with a result-driven approach.

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience, and qualification. Based on the CBA level, the minimum gross salary for this position is €39,956 EUR.
